Adobe and Google are no strangers to collaboration. They have been working closely together to improve the workflows of their users. More recently, they have created a new integration to allow for seamless inspiration.

In Fall 2020, Adobe and Google collaborated and launched Google Workspace. This allowed for a better integration of the Google apps, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive and Gmail, and Creative Cloud Libraries to improve productivity.

Now it is Spring 2021, Adobe and Google have come out with a new integration that helps to keep us all inspired. Google has added Adobe Creative Cloud as an extension in Google Chrome.

This fresh collaboration brings the power of Adobe Capture to the Google Chrome browser. We all have turned to Google to search for inspiration a time or two; whether searching for initial inspiration, finding additional assets or creating a mood board.

When inspiration strikes, use the Adobe Creative Cloud extension in Google Chrome to capture any image and seamlessly add it to the Creative Cloud Libraries.

This doesn’t only work for images but for colors, patterns, themes and shapes too. This new integration of these systems gives you the fluidity to pull these assets from the Creative Cloud Library into any app you are working in. From Premiere Pro to Illustrator, to Google Workspace applications like Google Docs or Slides, this new extension can easily bring any asset into your digital workspace. This extension keeps all your assets in one, easy-to-reach place that can be shared seamlessly.

This integration not only aids with inspiration but also with productivity and efficiency. It removes the need to save files externally and place, or import, them into an application, saving everyone time and hard drive space. With this massive leap in combining these two powerhouse applications, we can’t wait to see what Google and Adobe come out with next.
